Finally, there’s a 12-month/12,000-mile adjustment period, coupled with 5 years/unlimited miles of roadside assistance, making this one of the most robust warranty plans in the business.

Mitsubishi Maintenance Guidelines

Just because your new Mitsubishi includes that kind of coverage, doesn’t mean that it can go maintenance-free. That’s why Mitsubishi Motors has compiled a service schedule for owners to properly maintain their vehicles.

7,500-Mile or 6-Month Interval

Mitsubishi vehicles are serviced according on a 6-month/7,500-mile interval that revolves around an oil and oil filter replacement, followed by a rotation of the vehicle’s tires.

15,000 Miles or 12 Months

At 15,000 miles or 12 months, whichever occurs first, those same services (oil, filter, rotation) will occur, along with an inspection of tire condition, wear and inflation. Mitsubishi mechanics will also inspect the brake pads and rotors, checking for wear, and continuing further to inspect the brake system hoses for deterioration and leaks. The driveshaft boots are next and will be checked for tears and grease leakage. It will also be time to replace the in-cabin air filter and check the tire repair kit.

Extended Warranty and Maintenance Plans

Because the Mitsubishi factory warranty is so extensive, the company doesn’t offer an extended warranty program, nor do they offer pre-paid maintenance. But if you plan to keep your Mitsubishi vehicle for a longer period, do your research to check out third-party extended warranty offerings.
