Land Rover Repairs

After buying a new Land Rover, it’s an excellent idea to seek repairs through factory authorized dealers, who have firsthand knowledge of your vehicle, as well as being up to date in the latest service bulletins issued by the manufacturer.

In the case of leases, many of these contracts, including those from Land Rover’s financial partner Land Rover Financial Group (LRFG), require the use of Land Rover original equipment parts when making repairs.

Training

Land Rover service mechanics receive factory-authorized training from I-CAR, an internationally-recognized training provider on the latest repair practices. Before they are I-CAR certified, they undergo basic aluminum handling and welding. After that, they progress on to Land Rover-specific training tailor-made for the brand. Through this continuing education process, dealership mechanics and independent technicians become better equipped with knowledge for an effective repair of your Land Rover/Range Rover vehicle. They also receive access to tools and service advisories not available to non-certified shops.

Loan car policy

Although Land Rover does not offer loaner vehicles while your vehicle is being repaired, some dealers may offer a limited number of complimentary loaner vehicles. Appointments and reservations are required, so please check with your dealer of choice for more information.

Finally, if your Land Rover vehicle is in for a repair resulting from a collision, your insurance policy may offer rental car coverage as part of its rider. Check your policy for more information.

The Land Rover Authorized Aluminum Repair Network is a network of dealers and auto repair shops which have been certified by Jaguar Land Rover. Inspected yearly, they have access to the latest information, knowledge and service bulletins detailing the proper care and maintenance of your vehicle.

Because of specialized materials used to construct Land Rovers, including aluminum and carbon fiber, members of the repair network, which includes dealers and approved independent collision repair providers, have received factory-authorized training and the latest equipment to make your Land Rover whole again, using authorized Land Rover parts.
