Lamborghini Maintenance Schedules Q&A

Lamborghini Maintenance Pricing & Schedules

Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A is a well-established Italian Tractor manufacturer that happens to operate a little sideline business building Italian supercars and SUVs. Now owned by the Audi division of Volkswagen group, it has been through quite a lot, including bankruptcy and several sales since Ferruccio Lamborghini founded it in 1963. In contrast to his chief rival Enzo Ferrari, Lamborghini chose to forgo any factory-supported racing because of the financial drain on company resources. But that did not prevent him from building cars that looked as though they were doing 200 mph even while standing still.

Currently, the Lamborghini brand builds three vehicles including the V12-powered Aventador, the V10-powered Huracán, and the twin-turbocharged V8 Urus SUV. Extremely aggressive in both their design and their capabilities, they do require regular service to maintain their levels of performance. That’s why Lamborghini has compiled a service menu that lets owners know when their vehicles need proper maintenance. It is only through these means that Lamborghini vehicles can live up to their reputation.

Lamborghini Maintenance Guidelines

9,000-Mile/12-Month Intervals

The guidelines for your Lamborghini vehicle center around a maintenance schedule that breaks up into 9,000-mile/12-month intervals. During this first 9,000-mile service, your Lamborghini mechanic will replace the original synthetic engine oil and oil filter with a new fill of synthetic that will be good for the next 9,000 miles or 12 months, whichever occurs first. They will also rotate the tires (if applicable) to get the maximum lifespan from them. Following this, they will inspect the air filters, radiators, steering components, front and rear suspension joints, the brake system, including brake pads, all electrical connections, fluid levels, tires and rims, the tire repair kit, check all factory diagnostics for faults, and finally perform a road test to guarantee all systems are working properly.

18,000 Miles or 2 Years

The service will repeat itself at 18,000 miles or two years, whichever comes first. In addition to the synthetic oil and oil filter replacement, Lamborghini mechanics will also replace the spark plugs, engine coolant, V-belt and tensioner, the pollen filters and the brake fluids. Tires will also be rotated if applicable. All the inspections seen at the 9,000-mile mark will be repeated.

27,000 Miles or 3 Years

At three years or 27,000 miles, it will be time for a third synthetic oil and oil filter change. That will be followed by a refresh of the gearbox fluid, again with a tire rotation. Following these replacements, technicians will also inspect all other items from the two previous services, adding inspections to the oil vapor recirculation system, oxygen sensors, EVAP system, injection and ignition systems, along with the resetting of the service messages. Finally, they will perform a road test.

Extended Warranty and Maintenance Plans

Lamborghini owners are covered by a 3-year/unlimited mileage vehicle comprehensive warranty, a 3-year/unlimited mileage powertrain warranty, and 12-year/unlimited mileage anti-perforation (rust) warranty. Prepaid maintenance is available at various prices through Lamborghini Multi-Coverage Protection Packages. At the end of the 3-year standard warranty period, Lamborghini offers an extended warranty that can be purchased to extend out to 7 years from the vehicle’s initial date of service, for added assurance. If taken at the time of purchase, the extra costs of the extended warranty and extended maintenance plans can be incorporated into your monthly finance payment.
