Aston Martin Maintenance Schedules Q&A

Aston Martin Maintenance Pricing & Schedules

Aston Martin Lagonda is a legendary British manufacturer of luxury sports cars and grand touring vehicles. The firm was founded in 1913 but finally came into its own in the year 1947 as helmed by David Brown. Certain models began carrying the DB designation as a result (DB4, DB5, DBS, and others). Along the way, Aston Martin vehicles have become a darling of Tinseltown, serving on the big screen as a vehicle of choice for her Majesty’s Secret Service in numerous James Bond films, and in real life with a Royal Warrant as purveyor of motorcars to the Prince of Wales since 1982.

Many of Aston Martin’s vehicles are built in facilities located on what was a former RAF bomber base in Gaydon, Warwickshire, England. Like all new cars (and many potential classics), they require periodic care and maintenance in order to receive miles and years of good service. To help their vehicle’s owners achieve such goals, Aston has compiled a schedule of service and maintenance needs that will provide many years of exceptional performance.

Aston Martin Maintenance Schedule Intervals: 10,000-mile/12-month intervals

The maintenance schedule is divided into 10,000-mile/12-month intervals.

First 10,000-mile interval

At the first of these 10,000-mile intervals, the mechanic will replace the vehicle’s synthetic engine oil, and oil filter, as well as perform a complete factory 131-point maintenance procedure. It would also be a suitable time to rotate your tires, in an effort to maximize their lifespan.

20,000 miles

At 20,000 miles, technicians will again replace the synthetic oil and engine oil filter, and then replace the brake and clutch fluids along with the in-cabin air filter, and another tire rotation.

3 years/30,000 miles

At 3 years/30,000 miles, it will be time for the third synthetic oil and filter change, and the proper time to replace the engine air filter. Also, the ancillary drive belt will be replaced at the same time. Finally, following another tire rotation, the service wraps up with the factory-prescribed 131-point maintenance procedure.

Extended Warranty and Maintenance Plans

Owners are covered by a 3-year/unlimited mileage vehicle warranty, and 10-year/unlimited mileage anti-perforation warranty. At the end of the 3-year period, Aston Martin offers an extended warranty for added assurance. The firm also offers owners an optional extended Premium service contract that can extend for two years all the way out to 10 years/Unlimited mileage. The plans are available on road going models that are less than 10 years old, currently, with zero deductible, subject to a multi-point Aston Martin inspection. All services are performed by factory trained technicians using genuine Aston Martin parts and even cover usage at “official Aston Martin Lagonda of North America” track events. Finally, the contracts are transferable subject to certain terms and conditions.

An alternative plan is available for cars between the ages of five and 10 years old, with unlimited mileage at a total aggregate claim limit of the maximum value of your car.

Both plans offer coverage of components including the engine, cooling system intercoolers, air conditioning, gearbox/transmission, clutch, differential/final drive, wheel bearings, steering, suspension, brakes, and cover all the way down to the supercharger unit.
